KARACHI: Sindh Education and Literacy Minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Da
har said on Tuesday that cheating culture in examinations was destroying the fabric of education system and now it was the collective res
ponsibility of parents, teachers, all stakeholders and every individuals of the society to play their part in eliminating this menace form education.
While speaking with the media in Sindh Ass
embly on Tuesday, He said that class one to class eight examinations were almost over; however, the main task, the examinations for secondary and higher secondary classes, was ahead, adding that before holding these examinations, they had to make a
rrangements to curb cheating in the examinations.
The provincial minister added, “The future of the country depends upon the proper training of new generation and we are supposed to play our role in this regard.” He directed all schools and collegesdirectors, heads of secondary and higher secondary boards across the province to make foolproof a
rrangements, including proper security a
rrangements to curb cheating culture in the coming examinations.
He warned that action would be taken against externals and internals of the centres if the news of cheating was reported. He said,“Cheating in examinations meant dark future for our country so we must discour
age it at all cost.”
